Submit a Memory
We are collecting memories of Milwaukee County Stadium for a forthcoming book to be published in the McFarland Historic Ballpark series.
You are encouraged to describe your experiences at the ballpark with as much detail as you can recall. These prompts might be helpful to you before you submit your memories.
What sporting event or non-sporting event (concert, for example) did you attend at Milwaukee County Stadium and approximately when?
What do you remember about the park and your experiences?
What do you remember about the event itself? What made the event so special or memorable?
What do you remember about the exterior and interior of the park, the playing field, outfield walls, scoreboard, seats, sight angles, views, crowd, travel, ticket booths, or concessions?
Was there anything about the ballpark that especially stood out?
What do you remember about the neighborhood and the general area?
In submitting your memories, you agree to release your work for a book on Milwaukee County Stadium to be edited by David Cicotello and Andy Terrick and published by McFarland. No remuneration (payment) will be forthcoming to you upon publication. Contributors will be notified if their submission is accepted for publication in the book.
