Milwaukee County Stadium was the ballpark where Pittsburgh Pirates’ Harvey Haddix pitched 12 perfect innings and lost in the 13th; where Robin Yount joined the 3,000 hit club; and where Paul Molitor chased Joe DiMaggio’s 56-consecutive game hitting streak.
